I will not crawl and die
and like me this place will stay alive.
this place I will not give up-
because this place I truly love.

call me pathetic, call me a loser
but this place i will not lose.
call me a loner and an idiot,
I don't care- it might even be true.

and I sit here waiting.
for this place to be revived.
remembering the days it was so alive.
now i do my best to ensure it will not succumb
and I will try each day to come.

This meeting place- this spot.
Means to me a lot.
And though to you it may not,
I will not let it rot.
