i listened again to a song named "doina naftule" by Itzhak Perlman in the disc "klezmer 2" and noticed it is also contemplative, like the tune in "at first light".
than i asked my romanian friend (who give me a record of a band in this name)about that, and this was his answer:
"Doina" (this the correct writing), spelled "doeno"-
is a very romanian medley/poem with the
characteristic of a "sad tune". It's like the national
folklor music sign. It's also a popular girl name in Romania. The jewish romanian klezmer music I think
borrowed it, which I can not said about "hora" (there is
a debate, at least in Israel about who take it from
who).
still,i dont know what's the connection to ireland.
